Who said anything about staying sane? Doesn’t that imply that I had to BE sane in the first place?

Like most other things, it just doesn’t taste quite the same. Luckily my little family is actually loving many of the foods they are finding here in America. If they didn’t, where would I be?

I will almost miss those pork chops I used to get at TESCO. They came in a bag, were frozen, and from the look of them, they just killed the pig, froze it, cut it up with a huge band saw and tossed the chops into the bag. The bag was no doubt tossed into a freezer again, and shipped half way around the world so they could be flogged for less than what a UK farmer (whose average age is currently 64, guess who has a foreign food dependency that is about to sink their little island) could possibly sell his fresh local pig.

Happy days to be back to USDA meat.

In the short time I was in the UK, I REALLY missed GOOD steak. Even the “top of the line” Argentinean steak in London was mediocre.

First eat out meal when I returned: Texas Roadhouse steaks…
